Travel Nurse Position Referral Bonuses
Among your friends, are there any RNs looking to expand their career horizons? Introduce them to NursesRx. When one of your qualified referrals finishes a 13-week assignment, you will be eligible to receive a $500 bonus.
Double Bonus for Dialysis Referrals in May
For a limited time, when you refer a Dialysis RN to NursesRx, you’ll receive $1,000--double the usual cash bonus!
Here's how it works:
- Any traveler or other healthcare professional may refer a new traveler to NursesRx.
- Refer a traveler using this online form or by having your referral contact us directly and give us your name.
- If we receive your referral information from our online form, we will contact your colleague and introduce him or her to NursesRx. Your referral can also contact us directly, and give your name and information as the referrer either on their application or over the phone.
- You will receive a letter confirming the eligibility status of your referral (see Program Rules).
- Once the colleague you referred completes a full 13-week (or longer) assignment with us, you will be eligible for $500.
- Double Bonus for Dialysis RNs: A $1000 bonus will be paid to any traveler or other healthcare professional that refers a qualified Dialysis RN that applies between May 1, 2008 and May 31, 2008 and starts a travel assignment by June 30, 2008.
- If you qualify to receive a referral bonus while you are working on assignment with NursesRx, you will receive your bonus automatically through your current payroll.
- If you qualify for the bonus but are not working on an assignment with NursesRx at that time, you will be contacted by your recruiter to confirm your address before your referral bonus payment is mailed.

Already a traveler with us? You can earn even MORE! You could earn additional bonuses of $5000 or more with our 2008 Referral Challenge. Visit The Service Connection or ask your recruiter for all the details.
Referrals can be submitted by you online using our online form, or by a new traveler who identifies you as their referrer when applying.
- To be eligible for the referral bonus, the referred candidate must be a new contact for NursesRx (i.e. not already in the NursesRx traveler database).
- If you are a current traveler with us, make sure we have your correct contact information in our records so we can reward you for your referrals. If you are not a current traveler, make sure you or your referral submits your complete contact information so we know how to reach you.
- To qualify for the referral bonus, the name and contact information for both you and your referral needs to be included on the application or referral form.
- You will earn a bonus upon each professional you refer to us completing a full 13-weeks assignment with NursesRx (a full assignment requires that the referral work a minimum of 468 hours based on 36 hour workweek or 520 hours for a 40 work week and meet all contract requirements).
- Double Bonus for Dialysis RNs: For each Dialysis traveler you refer that applies between May 1, 2008 and May 31, 2008 and starts a travel assignment by June 30, 2008, you will be eligible to receive $1,000. Eligible specialties include Dialysis, Renal, or Hemodialysis.
Referred travelers must start an assignment within one year of the application date associated with that referral. If your referral takes an assignment but does not complete all 13 weeks within that year, they will have up to one year to come back and make up the remaining weeks, and you can still receive your referral bonus.
- In a case of “reciprocal referring” (two new candidates applying and referring each other), only one referral bonus will be paid, to be split between the travelers.
