    To honor the birthday of Florence Nightingale, we want to pay tribute to her service as a brave military nurse during the Crimean War. Her nickname, "The Lady with the Lamp," is symbolic of her bravery tending to soldiers at all hours of the day. Military nurses are a bold and extraordinary group and they deserve our recognition.
