Antepartum/High Risk OB Nurse

This Ante-Partum unit boasts the latest in advanced technology housed within a caring and effective patient care model. Join this highly motivated team of caregivers and enjoy a challenging and welcoming environment based on optimal patient care. Details: Reporting to the Patient Care Manager and according to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to obstetrical patients admitted/transferred to the unit requiring monitoring and intervention. These include caring for pre-term labor, diabetics, premature rupture of membrane, hyperemesis, and other medical complications during pregnancy. In doing so, demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served (child-bearing, 10-55 years of age) by the unit. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned shift.

Required Qualifications

Current IL RN license BLS - American Heart 2 years Ante-Partum/OB experience
