    How to Get a Montana Nursing License

    • $100 for licensure by exam
    • $200 for a Montana licensure by credential (endorsement)
    • $25 for a temporary permit
    • Montana is a member of the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact. RNs who already have compact state licenses do not need to get a license to practice.
    • Pass the NCLEX examination ($200 testing fee)
