What is a Travel Nurse?
Travel nurses fill short-term positions—lasting anywhere from eight to 13 weeks—in hospitals and facilities that are experiencing staffing shortages due to seasonality, expansions or other reasons.
Travel nurses are needed in all nursing specialties and fulfill the same duties as normal, full-time RNs. Popular travel nursing specialties include, ER, OR, L&D, ICU and more.
